Short Film Network: The Role and Purpose of Short Film Conference
Around the world, various short film-related organizations have offered a variety of programs to discover and support talented filmmakers. The Short Film Conference (SFC), one of the major film-related organizations, is a non-profit organization of over 100 members, including film festivals, distributors, platforms, agencies, and film markets. Over the years, the SFC has hosted a number of events and workshops, worked on a variety of projects. For this Roundtable, BISFF would like to introduce the SFC and take time to expand our awareness of its activities and objectives. This will provide an opportunity for us to understand how much effort the short film industry has put into establishing itself as a space for active exchange, particularly at a time when the international film industry is devastated by the COVID-19 pandemic.
